Juen Vei focuses his practice on dispute resolution, particularly in construction and commercial disputes. He advises developers, management corporations and joint management bodies, financial institutions, corporations and private clients on a wide range of contentious matters including construction disputes, contractual and commercial disputes, strata management disputes, banking and financial disputes, employment and workplace disputes, insolvency matters (bankruptcy and winding-up), defamation and other civil litigation matters.

Juen Vei regularly appears as counsel and co-counsel in proceedings across all levels of the Malaysian courts, including the High Court and appellate courts, as well as in arbitration and adjudication proceedings under the Construction Industry Payment and Adjudication Act 2012 (CIPAA).

Juen Vei graduated with First Class Honours from Cardiff University and completed the Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC) at Lincoln’s Inn. He was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2016.

Juen Vei is also an accredited mediator and mediates disputes involving commercial, construction and employment matters. He regularly conducts talks and training sessions for clients and business organisations on legal topics including dispute management, construction and contractual risk, and employment issues.

Prior to founding JV Wong, Lim & Tham, he began his legal career at Messrs. Skrine and later joined Messrs. Rahmat Lim & Partners, where he practised in the dispute resolution and international arbitration team, focusing on construction disputes, arbitration and commercial litigation matters.

Juen Vei is also active in professional and business organisations. He currently serves as a Growth Ambassador in BNI Klang Region and is a member of Vistage Malaysia, an international CEO peer advisory organisation.
